🌿 Devkyara Bugyal – The Hidden Gem of Uttarakhand

Tucked away in the Garhwal Himalayas, Devkyara Bugyal is one of Uttarakhand’s best-kept secrets — a pristine high-altitude meadow located at 3,750 meters. Far from the crowds and noise, this place feels like nature whispering directly to your soul.

Surrounded by towering snow-clad peaks and untouched beauty, Devkyara isn’t just a destination, it’s a journey inward — where every step brings you closer to silence, serenity, and something sacred.

🌲 The Journey Through Wilderness

The path to Devkyara begins from the peaceful village of Sankri, nestled in the Uttarkashi district. From there, you pass through charming hamlets like Jakhol and Obra, meeting warm-hearted locals and experiencing the authentic mountain lifestyle.

As the trek unfolds, you walk through dense pine forests, gurgling rivers, and open green valleys. The trail is peaceful yet alive — filled with the music of birds, rustling leaves, and the occasional distant call of the mountains.

One of the most enchanting stops along the way is Bhawa Waterfall, a perfect spot to rest and reflect. Sitting beside the cascading water as the sun sets feels like time itself has slowed down just for you.

🏔️ Devkyara – In the Lap of the Gods

Reaching Devkyara Bugyal is like stepping into a dream. The vast green meadow stretches out endlessly, kissed by cool breezes and hugged by mighty Himalayan peaks like Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, and Kalanag.

At sunrise, when golden light touches the snow-covered peaks, the view is simply surreal. You don’t need words here — just a deep breath, and the mountains will do the talking.

It’s a place to pause, to feel, to just be.
